The flipped classroom model subverts the idea that homework must be done outside of school time. Instead, students in flipped classrooms learn new material at home, outside of school hours, and complete their homework while they’re at school. A recent article in the Metro Parent Education Guide explores this concept further and highlights Alki Middle School teacher Matt Greco as an example of the benefits of flipped classrooms.
